Ukraine is interested in joining the Turkic Council as an observer member. This will make it the second European country apart from Turkey to be in the Turkic Council. It is one of the many signs which indicate that big things are on the way for the Turkic World.

while I think it sounds good. I’d prefer to keep it for only turkic countries to strengthen internal cooperation and cultural ties. Just like how EU is viewed as christian club. Later on we can open up.
remember that russia is still vying for influence. So holding on to cultural ties will alienate christian ortodox russia.
Yeah I agree, we need a balance between Russia and Ukraine. If we let them in it'll piss Russia off.
I think we should continue working with current member states, and maybe even make Hungary a full member. Unlike Ukraine, Hunagry isn't a very mixed country. Hungarians are pretty much Christian Turks. They deserve full member status.
I think what we’re doing atm is the right thing. And we should continue with that. Schools, business and defence. We need the turkic nations population to grow to the size of Turkey and more.
I'm impressed by the total population. I think 250-300 million is ideal.
Kazakhstan needs to grow over 100 million ideally 200 mio considering the size of the country. But you’d need to have basis to support such a big population.
Central Asia has never had the right type of soil for large agricultural output. Which is why unlike India and China the population has remained relatively low. The diets of the Turks used to purely consist of meat along with onions and garlic for flavoring. That's all there was on the steppes.
I think the fact that they lived nomadic lives for so long meant that they never had the time to settle and create huge cities with massive populations. But I guess nowadays things are different... But it'll take a long time for Kazakhstan to exceed 100 million. They estimate that by 2050 it'll only reach 24 million.
